Good to see you back here Jono. I got thinking about you last night because there was a guy on the sky-train (we were heading into Vancity for an NBA game) that totally reminded me of you, only he was Spanish. Got me wondering how you guys are doing, so its nice to have an update from you.
Have fun at the U2 concert. We’ll be at the one in Vancouver… no one does it quite like U2, that’s for sure

Jon! I garden and I love it! In fact I am a garden coordinator in Stoon now, which means this is my job. I get so excited about this sort of thing. So here is my gardening tip : companion planting – google it, it’s quite brilliant. as well as compost. If you do corn – do three rows cause for some reason the rows need each other. tomatoes produce lots if you sucker them – it means you snip or break off smaller branches from the main stem, your tomato plant shouldn’t be super huge and wide – if it’s controlled then it will have more energy to make the tomato’s it grows bigger and better – and well… i could go on and on so yay gardening and your new endevour. You’re going to love it!

Good Question man…Depends what you mean by prophet I guess. I think God can use anyone to speak through, and in Gandhi`s case I would say God definately used him to speak truth into many an evil situation. I suppose we are arrogant to think that God has appointed only us `christians`as his mouthpiece.

I wanted to pose a question: was Gandhi a prophet? I know that some faiths would call him that and more. Is it fair to say so for ‘us’ Bible believing Christians? What are your thoughts.

good stuff jon. i love the thought that jesus still gets to see the places where his heart is in that traffic movie. africa, among other 3rd world places sure looks lonely (very little action). but i wonder if those really are the lonely places. or if the high traffic areas are the lonely ones. people living close to each other geographically, but far away relationally… maybe it could be viewed as a loneliness chart?
